Tribuit Downloads

Tribuit is a simple, easy to use word trainer designed to store words in vocabularies with metainformation and is supposed to manage latin words.

Some words might have several meanings. You should separate those by comma, the search function will split the definition then and each meaning can be found. Each term class has individual properties concerning article and meta information. Term classes can be edited via the menu at vocabulary settings dialog.

The vocabulary files stored in Tribuit/vocs are exchangeable with .voc files from the same Tribuit version. Modify this directory only when Tribuit is not running. There are vocabularies downloadable at sourceforge.net/projects/tribuit/files/vocabularies.

The phonetic notation in Tribuit is based on UTF-8 encoding. Some fonts, although generally supporting UTF-8, cannot display phonetic characters, you will see e.g. a square instead. Fonts that should do are e.g. Quivira, Code2000, Sun-ExtA, DejaVu San...
